Linda, has experienced issues and suffered with a dysplastic hip since birth. In laymans terms, the hip was never fully developed.
In more recent years, her pain levels have increased and she is currently awaiting a hip replacement operation.
The hip is the largest "ball-and-socket" joint in the body. It is held together by ligaments, tendons, and a joint capsule. The ball is called the "femoral [fem-er-uhl] head," which is the top of the femur or thigh bone.View Linda's Tool Tips ›
